Kl.19.00 – NIKI & THE DOVE (SE)

Niki & The Dove consists of Malin Dahlström and Gustaf Karlöf. With influences from basically every decade of pop history they make super catchy electronic pop music. In 2010 they released their first single and since then they’ve been on everyone’s lips. Their great tunes got them listed as ‘the sound of 2012’ by BBC, ‘the two best alt-pop songs of 2010’ by NME, as well as landing record deals with aknowledged record labels Sub Pop in the States and Mercury in Europe. They just released a new single and great things are expected from them in 2016!

Kl.20.00 – LISS (DK)

Liss are four teenagers from Aarhus in Denmark. Formed at school, the band have been perfecting a sound that recalls elements of Frank Ocean and Arthur Russell to create a unique brand of Nordic soul. On August 13th they released the first single ‘Try’ on Copenhagen based Escho.

The self directed video for the track sees Liss lead singer Søren Holm performing the song for the first time in front of his band mates in the band’s rehearsal space, having only just finished recording it (hence the screw up’s). The track was produced by Rodaidh McDonald (The XX, King Krule, Sampha) and Denmark’s Vera.

LISS are: Søren Holm, Vilhelm Strange, Villads Tyrrestrup, Tobias Hansen

Kl.21.00 – HENRIK THE ARTIST

Meet Henrik the Artist. Henrik, the musician. Henrik, the poet. Henrik, of your heart. Henrik of the Norwegian group called Rytmeklubben along with Hi Tom, Torjus and DJ Karaoke. A little ray of sonic sunshine serving light refreshments from a ramshackle soda stand. His unique brand of club music brings together a love of commercial pop and music from the 90s-00s, and mixes them together with more underground bass inspired sounds. For Henrik, it’s not just about music. It’s about friends and art. Friends that he meets, such as Ryan Hemsworth, who released his debut single ‘Naked’ via Secret Songs alongside Diplo and Liz who gave you his remix of their piece called ‘Set Me Free’ for Christmas. Become one of his true friends – the door is always open.

Kl.22.00 – HASTA

Hasta is the production alias of young 18 year old Norwegian producer Thomas Wesenlund Wahl – quickly having gained attention for his high-speed production and ruthless approach to releases. In the start of 2015 he picked up a lot of praise for his remixes of Mura Masa and Preston Harris, before premiering his original “Tropical Nintendo” through FACT. Described as someone to “look out for” by the influential blog, the young producer kept up the underground sound – being added as a co-producer on GoldLink’s “Dance on me” which was released in June 2015. He followed UP the GoldLink track with the release of his GLACCI collaboration “Pastel”, being picked up by THUMP, saying that the track was something that sounded like “Hudson Mohawke and SOPHIE highfiving”. He spent the summer playing smaller underground venues, with highlights that included the german Splash! Festival.

Hasta’s second EP was released on Kitsunè worldwide and Universal Music in the nordics this fall, and there will be a follow-up single shortly.

The Botanique EP represents a fresh start for the producer, combining all his tastes to create his own signature sound. Varying from glittering chimes, to heavy sinister and jazzy drops Hasta has created an EP for a finer palette. Six tracks created as a whole, with features from up-and-coming artists Oslo-based OMVR , London-based Daniel Spencer and Los Angeles-based VOX, layers the Hasta universe. That universe being a dark, bass-heavy landscape, taking the listener far below the surface of his tracks. The producer is un-biased, and chooses not to define himself in just one genre, ending up with heavily using elements from both jazz, r’n’b and atmospheric 808.

Kl.23.00 – ABRA (US)

It’s quite simple – when it comes to Abra and her art, she’d rather do it herself. Abra moved to the suburbs of Metro Atlanta from London when she was ten years old. Growing up as a pastor’s kid, she spent much of her time around the church choir, which she credits as an early influence. After her mother taught her how to play the guitar, Abra began to make YouTube covers of all her favorite jams. In college, her YouTube covers caught the attention of Father, and they became instant friends, which eventually led to her relationship with Awful. Abra’s voice is velvet, her production is futuristic and bold, and her lyrics are poignant and vulnerable.

Selvtillit:

Drink

White Lady

En skikkelig potent damedrink. Sterk, samtidig som den er elegant. For elegante kvinner og barske mannfolk,

Drink

Carriacou Rum Punch

Drink fra Karibia, nærmere bestemt Carriacou. Lages med vår egen hjemmelagde muskattsirup.

Drink

Bloody Mary

Old Fashioned

Slik gjorde man det i gamle dager. Du har ikke drukket drinker hvis du ikke har smakt denne.
